Description
When attempting to install a package using the RStudio IDE under TERR Tools, user gets the following error even though Rtools is installed correctly.
"WARNING: Rtools is required to build R packages but is not currently
installed. Please download and install the appropriate version of Rtools
before proceeding."
Resolution
Spotfire 10.10 includes TERR 5.1, which was built to be compatible with R 3.6.2. Check the version of Rtools installed, as TERR 5.1 is not compatible with Rtools 4.0, and downgrade to a supported version of Rtools.
