How do I obtain information on the memory usage trends of my TIBCO Data Virtualization server?
Resolution
Every 60 minutes, TIBCO Data Virtualization server writes a snapshot of memory usage (along with other useful statistics) to the cs_server_status.log, under a section titled Server Stats. Open this log and look for a line Total Memory Used under this section. This line will tell you how much of the Java Heap was in use at the time that the snapshot was taken. Pay close attention if Total Memory Used has crossed 85%, because this means that the JVM Heap memory is starting to run low. When the Heap memory runs low, you have a higher chance of experiencing a slow response time, OutOfMemory errors, or both.
