How to add/delete variables (columns of data)?
Resolution
The easiest way to add variables to an existing data file is to right click any column of the spreadsheet to select Add variables/Delete Variables. This will display the Add Cases and/or Variables dialog.
Also, one can select the appropriate command (e.g., Add, Move, Copy, Delete, etc.) from Data|variables drill-down options.
