Description
Spotfire takes advantage of the %TEMP% environment variable in the Windows OS to determine where temp files are stored.
Issue/Introduction
Customer may need to change where Spotfire stores temp (.tmp) files due to space limitations or to handle internal "cleaner" programs
Environment
Product: TIBCO Spotfire (desktop client / Analyst / Professional)
Version: All supported versions
OS: All supported Operating Systems
Resolution
To edit this setting, click on Start/Control Panel/System and Security/System/System Protection, then click on the "Advanced" tab and click on "Environment Variables". Highlight the line for the variable "TEMP" and click on Edit.
