Statistica Quality control chart by default will scale the chart appropriately. User may want to change the scaling of Quality Control chart generated in Enterprise, for example may want to change the step size of the X axis or may want to change the step size of other components of an IQC chart. For the purpose of this article, we'll assume the use case is to change the step size of the default IMR(Individuals and Moving Range) chart below:

          

To change the scaling of a chart in Enterprise, expand the SPC characteristic for which the scaling needs to be changed in the IQC Analysis configuration and select Scaling. In this example, since we are trying to change the step size of X-axis, select User-defined scaling of X-axis and define step size to be 5 and commit the change.

     

The user may similarly change other Step sizes if needed.  Run the analysis to see the change in scaling of the chart (X-axis step size is now 5, instead of 10)
