Description

Before Spotfire version 7.11, to change the flag "ignore-gpu-blacklist" (which was needed to be true in some Citrix installations to ensure proper visualization rendering), there was no way to centrally define this setting and it needed to be manually modified in the "Spotfire.Dxp.Cef.Properties.Settings" section of the TIBCO Spotfire installed client's Spotfire.Dxp.Main.dll.config file. Starting from TIBCO Spotfire Analyst 7.11.0 LTS, there is no need to modify configuration files to change the flag "ignore-gpu-blacklist".

Resolution

There is a new preference option available that is related to this ignore-gpu-blacklist flag.

To change the preference:
  1. Go to Administration manager > Preferences
  2. Select the desired group
  3. Expand "Web Browser" and click on "Runtime Options"
  4. Click on "Edit"
  5. Change the value for "IgnoreGpuBlacklist"
Note: The default value is "False".
