Description
This article details how Statistica Data Entry portal can be changed to display in a non-default language (English). The other languages supported are : German, French, Japanese, Polish and Russian. In this example, we are going to assume that there is a need for the data entry portal to be displayed in French.

How to make Data Entry portal show in a language that is not English ?
Resolution
On Statistica versions 13.0 and later, the locale changes can be made from the browser client as follows: The below screen may differ based on the browser used.
1. Open browser settings and add the browser language French (or language of choice) and move up French to the top
2. Close Settings or Internet options and browse to the Data Entry URL : http://[Servername]/DataEntry/ and verify that the data entry login page is now available in the language of your choice . Browser may need to be restarted if the language does not reflect right away.
The language changes can also be changed from the server as follows :
1. Login to the Data Entry/Application Server as a user with administrator privileges.
2. Launch Control Panel >>Clock, Language and Region >>Region.
3. From the Format drop down list, choose a language of your choice.
4. Click Apply and then OK to close the Region dialog box.
5. Launch Data Entry page from a browser and verify that the language was changed.
