The Block Name, displayed in the Formula Editor in the Categories > Operations list, can be changed to be more descriptive using the Rename Block feature.
When multiple operations, such as Lookups or Creates, exist for the same entity in a Map, a version number is appended to the Block Name listed in the Operations section of the Categories window of the Formula Editor. This makes the Block Name in the Formula Editor confusing. For example, the Block Name listed may appear as MyConnection_ContactCreate2.
Resolution
Use the Rename Block feature to make the Block Name displayed in the Formula Editor more descriptive.
To rename the Block:
In TIBCO Scribe® Online, open the Solution and Map that contain the Block you want to rename.
Edit the Map.
Select the Block to rename. For example, in the graphic below, the HubSpot_ContactCreate3 Block.
Click the Gear menu for the Block and select Rename.
In the Rename Block dialog box, enter the new Block name value in the Name field and click OK.
The new name cannot contain spaces or special characters.
Verify the updated name appears in the Categories listing on the formula editor.
For more information, see Working with Blocks in the TIBCO Scribe® Online Help.
