Description

We need to mention the IP Address or hostname of lead node and port number of Hive2 thrift server while connecting to TIBCO Compute DB connector using Spotfire 10.4 and higher. Please refer to the below screenshot.

NOTE: By default, the thrift server port is 10000

The below article describes on how to check the port number of Hive ThriftServer2 in the lead node in TIBCO Compute DB when connecting to Compute DB connector using Spotfire 10.4 and higher.

Resolution

If the port number is changed, we can get the port number from the dashboard. You can view the dashboard on browser using "<Ip address or hostname of lead node>:5050".

Under Environment tab, search for "hive.server2.thrift.port".
