Environment

OS: Windows 64-bit

Resolution

Steps to configure MS Access data source on TDV Server:

  • Install the Windows ODBC 64-bit client driver on the TDV Server. 

Note: This client driver is not typically installed on servers that do not have MS Office installed.

  • Ensure the package downloaded is AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe or has a similar name indicating that is is of 64-bit. 

  • Define the DSN for the MS Access database on the TDV Server. If the data is to be stored on a network drive, ensure the user running the TDV 's services has access to the network file system.

  • Define the data source on TDV Studio.
