1. Login to TDV Manager as a user with administrator privileges and navigate to Security>>Domain Management.
2. Click on Add Domain and add the LDAP domain details and Add the External Groups who would need to access the data and click OK.
3. Modify ldap.properties accordingly (Reference:
https://support.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-expand-the-LDAP-group-context-search-for-Active-Directory-in-TIBCO-Data-Virtualization). Verify that the LDAP domain is working, by attempting to log in to Studio as an LDAP user. The first time that you log in, you will see a message that rights need to be assigned. This message is normal and may be addressed by going to Web Manager >> Security >> User Management, selecting the user, and assigning rights
4. Launch TDV Studio, navigate to Administration>>Configuration and set :
1. Server>>Configuration>>Security>>Authentication>>Allow NTLM Authentication to true
2. Server>>Configuration>>Security>>Authentication>>Windows Domain Mapping:Key Value Map to [Domain name] : [Domain key set in TDV manager]
Click OK.
5. Right click on the published resource and select "Privileges" and select the users who should have permissions to the published data source. Also consider selecting "Apply recursively to dependencies"
Click Apply and OK.
6. Users logged into Spotfire Analyst can now access the published data source with the TIBCO Data Virtualization adapter by choosing the NTLM authentication mode:
