1. Create a database connection to the server where the data resides (if one doesn't exist already).

2. Create a data configuration that pulls the data with the counts.

3. Set the field with counts to be of Target type  "Attribute Characteristic or an Aggregate attribute characteristic" depending on if the data is aggregated or not.

3.If a field/variable has details of the sample size , set its target type to be sample size and associate with the attribute characteristic. Define access permissions for the data configuration and commit the change.

   

4. Right click on the data configuration and choose "New analysis configuration off this data". Name the analysis appropriately. Expand the SPC characteristics and set the Chart type to be "C" . Define access permissions and commit the change.

5. Specify additional output, if required.

6. Run the analysis to view the C chart in Statistica.
