1. Install PI OLEDB Enterprise kit as per instructions detailed in (if not installed already):

Launch Statistica Enterprise as a user with Database Admin permissions. Right click on Database Connections and choose New Database Connection.
3. Pick PI OLEDB Enterprise Provider. Define PI Server host name and credentials as required. Test connection to ensure connectivity.
4. Name the database connection Define access permissions click on commit on the top left corner to save the changes.
5. Right click on folder in Statistica System View and click on New Data Configuration
6. Define PI Query to bring back data from PI Historian as shown below, define access permissions and click on commit on the top left corner of Statistica Enterprise to save the changes.
7. Click Explore to bring the data into Statistica.
