For troubleshooting Webstatistica processes, it can be useful to get a dump file of the Webstatistica processes - statcF.exe . The processes will exist on the WebStatistica / Statistica Application Server.  The number of processes observed will correspond to the administration setting for Webstatistica. By default, there will be 4 statcf.exe processes.
 

1. Launch Task Manager on the Webstatistica Server (Right click on TaskBar and select Task Manager)

2. Select the Details tab (on newer versions of Windows) or the process tab (Older versions of Windows)

3. Find the processes named statcF.exe. If there is a statcf process that is specifically consuming more memory that the others, right click on that statcF.exe and click "Create dump file" 



4. Note the location of the dump file 



If necessary, repeat the process for all Statcf.exe processes or look up Event viewer for the error and process ID and pick the relevant Statcf.exe(s) by looking up Process number in the Event viewer and matching with Task Manager column PID. 



5. Browse to the location and zip all the .dmp files and send to TIBCO Statistica support for troubleshooting
