By defauly APIX Manager does not allow users to delete or remove items. This option is disabled by default.

Resolution
The delete functionality can be enabled. It is in the back-end of Joomla.
Login into Joomla administrator and goto
System --; Global Configuration --; API Manager
Set the "Enable deleting objects" to "Yes".
Login to the API Manager and delete any associated subscriptions and API's to the product
Go into the product, click the COG wheel that allows you to edit and you will see that the option to Delete the product is now available.
