When running a Time Series Decomposition workspace analysis, the long variable names are not displayed in the downstream document. This can make the interpretation of the results in the output document difficult as the variable names can be meaningless. To display the long variable names, on the variable selection dialog, if you click on the button 'Spread', it will display the long names in here for you. See example screenshots here:
1. Open a Time Series Plot Analysis (The 10Items.sta example dataset in Statistica is used here for illustration). 2. Choose variables for analysis by clicking on the 'Variables' button
3. Choose variables for analysis and then click 'Spread' button:
Both the long and short variable name is now displayed:
4. Click the 'Shrink' button to change this back again to short variable name:
