Description
If you want to enable/disable the 'Allow saving credentials' checkbox/option in the ODBC connection(s) i.e. inside the configure data source connection((reference image:ODBC.png) or "Yes, save credentials with the connection data source" option present in the "Credentials" tab of the TIBCO Spotfire Connector connection data source setting(reference image:Connector_Connection_Credentials.png) then follow the below resolution section.

Resolution
Follow the below steps:
1) Open TIBCO Spotfire Analyst(with administrative rights) >> Tools Menu >> Administration Manager.
2) Click on "Preferences" tab and select the desired group.
3) Expand the Application >> DataImportPreferences. Click on Edit button.
4) Now set true/false value in "EnableAllowSavingDatabaseCredentials" option as per your requirement(reference image:EnableAllowSavingDatabaseCredentials.png).
Example: Setting this preference to False will disable the checkbox control.
