The below datasource connection properties are configured to establish the connection between the TIBCO Data Virtualization (TDV) server and the Oracle database when Oracle uses Kerberos authentication.
  1. Datasource Name: The name of the Datasource.
  2. Host: Name of the host machine or it's IP address that hosts Oracle DB
  3. Port: Port number
  4. Service: Service name
  5. Pass-through Login: Disabled (Ensure this setting is disabled as seen in the attached screenshot)
  6. Transaction Isolation: Read Committed (Default value)
  7. Authentication: Kerberos
  8. Ticket Cache: Absolute path that holds the krb5.ini file
  • Krb5.ini is the file name for Windows servers.
  • Krb5.conf is the file name for Unix servers.
The "Advanced" connection tab can be left as it is, with default parameters.
