Here are the steps that outlines the process of getting details about the Spotfire Server metadata database from a global troubleshooting bundle:
  1. Extract the contents of the Global Troubleshooting Bundle (zip archive).
  2. In the extracted content, extract the zip archives for any individual Spotfire Server, generally named tss-[name]-[GUID].zip.      
  3. In the extracted content, open the diagnostics.xml file in a text editor.
  4. Search for "<name>server.default</name>"
    • The server.default section would contain the JDBC URL from where we can acquire the database type, hostname/ip address along with port and the database / schema name.
