How to find the metadatabase in a Statistica Enterprise Installation?

Description

PREREQUISITES:
1. A Machine with Statistica Enterprise installed (Server or Workstation )
2. Administrator privileges on the machine
3. Database login credentials.

Resolution

This is only applicable for Statistica Enterprise installations. Statistica Enterprise installations ask for a database during installation. This database is often referred to as the meta database for Statistica. If the user is unsure of which database the Statistica install is pointing to, the following steps can be performed on any machine with Statistica install.

1. Launch Control Panel>> System and Security>>Administrator Tools>> ODBC Data Sources (bit-width of installation). Switch to the 'System DSN' tab

2.  There will be a DSN named 'SEWSS' . Click on configure. Enter Database credentials if you have to. This will be the database/schema that is Statistica's meta database.
