Resolution

Option 1
  • Go to Windows Start Menu>>TIBCO >>TIBCO Spotfire Analyst (Show login dialog) OR
  • Go to Windows Start menu and search for TIBCO Spotfire Analyst(Show login dialog)
User-added image

Option 2 via command line
  • Open the Command Prompt, and execute Spotfire.Dxp.exe with the argument /forceShowLoginDialog.

Example:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\TIBCO\Spotfire\12.0.0\Spotfire.dxp.exe /forceShowLoginDialog

  • start "" /B "C:\Program Files (x86)\TIBCO\Spotfire\12.0.0\Spotfire.dxp.exe" /forceShowLoginDialog

Note :The above file location is default Analyst file install location and will vary for portable client. It may also be present in the user's AppData folder, like C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\TIBCO\Spotfire\12.0. If there have been upgrades, the .exe may be located in the folder of an earlier version as well.

Option 3
If Option 1 or 2 do not work, then it is also possible to manually delete the locally stored LoginInformation.xml file found in the "Settings" folder which is located in the user's AppData location. For example, C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\TIBCO\Spotfire\12.0\Settings. Important: Please note this will remove ALL remembered log in information and managed servers. After removing or renaming that file, relaunch the Analyst client to have the login dialog displayed again.

Option 4
From within Spotfire Analyst, select User menu > My Account > Discard "Keep me logged in" for all sessions ([number of sessions]). The next time Analyst is started, the login dialog will be displayed.
