Description
Spotfire accesses external URLs in order to display map chart information. These URLs may need to be whitelisted in order to allow access.
Issue/Introduction
Spotfire accesses external URLs for map charts that may need special handling.
Resolution
Add the following URLs to the Trusted Sites section in the Internet Explorer Security settings on the computer where Spotfire Analyst or Desktop is installed, and on the machine where the Node Manager is installed for Web Player access:
http(s)://geoanalytics.tibco.com/
http://cloudfront.net/
The second URL is used for web distribution of tiles. It is based on the Amazon cloud front and is therefore not accessible directly. For more security add the following specific URL:
