Description

When you try to install TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for Salesforce.com and if you don't have Businesswork Designer alredy installed on your machine you will get following Warning:
DEPENDENCY CHECKE FAILED:
The installation feature, Runtime, has failed internal dependency check.

TIBCO Designer (<Designer_Version>) or above is required and could not be located in current TIBCO Home directory.
Please choose one the following options: Exit Installtion/Change Selection

Environment

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for Salesforce.com which are supported on BW 5.x enviroment.

Resolution

1. Above mentioned warning comes because there's a dependency in product_bwpluginsalesforce_<SFDC-Plug-in-Version>_FeatureConfig_win_x86.xml file which comes with TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for Salesforce.com installation folder.
2. product_bwpluginsalesforce_<SFDC-Plug-in-Version>_FeatureConfig_win_x86.xml file contains following dependency:
<dependency description="TIBCO Designer" type="feature" uid="Runtime_Designer" version="${minimum.designer.version}" vpduid="Designer_runtime"/>
3. You have to remove this dependency from above mentioned .xml file and re-install the plug-in.
