Is there any way to apply the MFT 8.2.1 Service Pack as a hotfix to an existing 8.2.0 installation, rather than a doing a new install?

How to install TIBCO Managed File Transfer 8.2.1 as a hotfix?

All supported environments

If you have an existing installation running TIBCO MFT Command Center and/or Internet Server 8.2.0, performing this service pack (or hotfix) installation is recommended.

Please note, MFT 8.2.1 is a cumulation of hotfixes and it can be applied like a hotfix. The existing install directory and database should be backed up prior to applying the 8.2.1 Service Pack.

a.  Copy the following files to the install directory of the TIBCO MFT Command Center and/or Internet Server 8.2.0:

● fips.sh
● fips.bat
● install.sh
● install.bat
● installer.jar
● server.jar
● SPMFT821.jar
● database-lib folder

b.  Install the service pack as if it was a hotfix. Enter one of the following commands based on youroperating system:

For UNIX: ./install.sh SPMFT821 or ./install.sh SPMFT821 silent
For Windows: .\install.bat SPMFT821 or .\install.bat SPMFT821 silent
