How to install the Concurrent License Manager on a workstation post-installation of Statistica ?. If certain users of Statistica need to view what licenses are checked out by what user, the Concurrent License Manager can be installed to view license information.
Environment
Windows operating systems only.
Resolution
Normally this is done during the workstation/client installation by making the appropriate selection during setup (selecting "Custom" during the install will provide the option to install the Concurrent License Manger). If this option was not selected, it is possible to create a post-installation shortcut on the workstation as follows:
1. From workstation navigate to the shared Statistica folder on the server and find sta_sm.exe:

2. Right-click on the file named sta_sm.exe and choose Send to | Desktop (create shortcut) option:
3. This will create a shortcut on workstation desktop. It can be renamed if desired to 'Concurrent License Manager'.

Note: The Statistica application folder on the server needs "Read & Execute" NTFS permissions for Statistica users.
