Description
The Gage Capability analysis under Statistica menu "Statistics > Process Analysis > Gage Capability", or "Gage Capability" workspace node, will generate a result summary graph similar as below figure:
How to interpret the text "1.439 < 1.33 Not Acceptable" in above Gage Capability analysis output graph? The result 1.439 is obviously larger than 1.33.
Environment
Windows
Resolution
The " < 1.33 Not Acceptable" always appears in red in the Gage Capability result dialog indicating to the user what is "acceptable" and what is not. If the value calculated from the data is less than 1.33, the calculated value will be displayed in red font indicating it is Not Acceptable. If the value calculated from the data is equal to or larger than 1.33, the calculated value will be shown in blue font indicating it is " acceptable".
In above example screenshot, the "1.439" is the computed value based on the data. It is in blue indicating that its acceptable ( which makes sense since it's >= 1.33 ).
See below screenshot of an example where the computed values are NOT acceptable. Notice they are less than 1.33 and are in red font. This is as designed.
