Statistica Document Management System (SDMS) adds versioning ability to Statistica Enterprise. It can be used separately for versioning documents as well using the SDMS Client

How to locate the SDMS(Statistica Document Management System) Server that SDMS Client/Enterprise manager is pointing to?

1. If SDMS is enabled, launch Statistica Enterprise manager as user with System Administrator permissions (SADM) and navigate to System Options >>SDMS integration and look at the Server URL to determine the name of the SDMS Server. The portion of the URL before port number indicates the server name. If this is blank since this is an optional setting, proceed to Step 2.



2. Launch SDMS Client and choose not to login and then click on Options>>Manage>>Modify to see the name of the SDMS server.



3.In the unlikely event that either method mentioned in 1 or 2 above did not help determine the SDMS Server.  Launch Registry Editor and navigate to HKLM>>Software>>Statsoft>>ServerLocations>>SDMS and look at the default key for the SDMS Server name.
