There are several ways to backup Statistica installer files.  Installer files are generally in the form of a zip file (looks like a folder with zipper).   This file can be moved in one piece.  

Some typical ways to backup installer files:

• Upload to an offsite location (like Dropbox, Google Drive, and others).
• Copy/paste to external device like a external hard drive (The Best External Hard Drives of 2017).  USB thumb drives, memory sticks, etc. can also be used.  USB thumb drives, also known as USB flash drives, can be plugged into any USB port and should appear under the "Computer" as another disk drive (like D:\ and E:\).

Some general instructions on how move the zip file to a USB flash drive:

1.  Navigate to the folder that contains the files you'd like to copy

2.  Plug the USB flash drive into a USB port on the computer

3.  Find a place on your USB drive to store the copied files

4.  Drag files(s)  from the computer to the USB drive.
