The data connection cache cannot be overwritten before it expires if it is already present on TIBCO Spotfire Web Player. As a workaround, you can perform the following steps to force a reload and re-cache of the data:
1. Open the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst with a new session (this will load fresh data)
2. For TIBCO Spotfire 7.14.0 and lower:
- Go to Edit > Data Connection Properties > Data Connection Settings > Cache Settings and change the cache expiration time (this will generate new cache) and click OK.
For TIBCO Spotfire 10.0.0 and higher:
- Go to Data > Data Connection Properties > Data Connection Settings > Cache Settings and change the cache expiration time (this will generate new cache) and click OK.
3. Save the analysis
Now open the analysis on TIBCO Spotfire Web Player and the new data will be loaded and the cache will be updated.
