Description

When using the TIBCO Flogo Connector for Oracle Database, it is necessary to add the following vendor libraries to your TIBCO Cloud Integration organization:
1 Instant Client for Linux x86-64 (64-bit) Basic Package
2 Instant Client for Linux x86-64 (64-bit) ODBC Package

Since the Oracle client libraries contain symbolic links, it is necessary to make sure the symbolic links are not broken when adding the drivers to your TIBCO Cloud Integration organization. According to the TIBCO Flogo Connector for Oracle Database document, it is recommended to prepare the libraries on the Linux system to preserve the symbolic links. Please see the following document for the detailed steps:

Sometimes the user might want to prepare the libraries on a Windows system. In the following article, we use the Bandizip (the latest version) as an example to explain how to prepare the Oracle libraries on a Windows system:

1 Go to Oracle Website > Instant Client for Linux x86-64 (64-bit) > Version 21.11.0.0.0 and download the Basic Package compressed folder.
2 Similarly, go to Oracle Website > Instant Client for Linux x86-64 (64-bit) > Version 21.11.0.0.0 and download the ODBC Package compressed folder.
3 Run the Bandizip as administrator.
4 Select "Open Archive" to extract the downloaded Basic Package and ODBC Package compressed folders.
5 Merge the extracted ODBC Package folder with the instantclient_21_11 folder extracted from Basic Package.
6 Select "New Archive" in the Bandizip.
7 Click the "Add" button and add all the files/folders under the instantclient_21_11 folder to the archive.
8 Set the "File Name" to oracle.zip
9 select "More Options". Then click the "Advanced" button and select "Store symbolic links".

10 Click the "Start" button to zip the files
11 Follow the above TIBCO Flogo Connector for Oracle Database document to add the oracle.zip to your TIBCO Cloud Integration organization

Note: To check whether the 'oracle.zip' file has preserved the symbolic links, please open the 'oracle.zip' with Bandizip. You should observe that the size of the symbolic links is around 10 to 30 bytes. If you notice that the size of the symbolic links is 0 or the same size as the file they are linked to, it indicates that the symbolic links are broken. Please see the following screenshot that shows how does the correct oracle.zip look like:
