I need to temporarily extend the license until:
1. The renewal order is complete
2. I am sent an Access Code to update my license file to the full license period
3. The license file is updated to the full license period (legacy versions)
How and where to submit license requests for TIBCO Statistica
The 'Request Extension' action can be used to request an emergency, temporary, extension to a license if it is in danger of expiring before the details of a renewal can be worked out with Statistica. Only a single grace license is permitted per renewal cycle.
This type of extension will be 14 days for desktop products and 28 days for concurrently licensed products. This option becomes available when the license is within 15 days of expiration. The license must be either expired or within 15 days of expiring. Also, the license file cannot be more than 90 days expired.
Note: This function was added beginning in Statistica 12. See the ALTERNATIVE METHOD (below) for versions prior to Statistica 12.
STAND-ALONE DESKTOP INSTALLATION
With a Stand-alone desktop license, access this functionality by clicking the 'Update License' button from either the reminder dialog at start-up (if one is shown) or from the License Management dialog that is accessible by selecting Help/Support | More Details | License Management. Clicking the 'Request Extension' button will request, receive, and apply the updated license. Internet connectivity is required.

CONCURRENT INSTALLATION (NETWORK AND ENTERPRISE)
If using a concurrently licensed product, this functionality can be accessed by clicking the 'Update License' button of the Concurrent License Manager. Note: the Concurrent License Manager must be installed on the server where the license service is installed to perform this operation. Clicking the 'Request Extension' button will request, receive, apply the updated license, and restart the license service if needed. Internet connectivity is required.
1. Open the Concurrent License Manager that is installed on the server where the license manager service is installed.
2. Click on the ‘Update License’ button. The Update License dialog will open. Note: If not all the button options appear, re-launch the Concurrent License Manager by right-clicking and selecting "Run as administrator"
3. Click on the ‘Request Extension’ button. If eligible,with no connection issues, a new file will be generated and applied.
If successful, Figure 2 and Figure 3, above, will be displayed.
If request for a license file extension (or grace license) fails, the dialog in Figure 4 will be displayed. Create a support case (see below).
ALTERNATE METHOD
If any of the following apply:
Then access the registration website (from another computer if necessary) and request a temporary extension. An email address has to be provided and the license file, stat.lic, that needs extending has to be uploaded. If approved, the extension will be emailed (via the email provided) with instructions on how to apply the new file. Click here to go to the form.
