How to rerun or resume an analysis from Statistica workbook?

Description

Rerun/resume a previous analysis can be achieved by re-submitting the saved SVB script or options in Statistica workbook.

This example explains how to rerun/resume an analysis to reproduce the graph. Other types of output such as spreadsheets and reports can be applied in the similar manner.

Solution 1: For all types of analysis output

1. Right click the graph folder within the workbook that saved the project and scripts for graph creation
( Note: The red arrow shown on top of the folder indicates that the underlying script was saved and available for rerun)
2. From the drop-down menu list, select “Re-run Analysis...” or "Resume Analysis..." as shown in below figure, to open the Re-run or Resume analysis dialog

3. From the “Re-run Analysis” or "Resume Analysis" dialog, select "Input Data" and "Output" method options and then click "OK"

Solution 2: For graph output only


1. Open the workbook that saved the graph project in Statistica
2. Click the graph project to display the previously created graph
3. Double click the graph background to access the "Graph Options" dialog
4. In the "Graph Options" dialog, under "Graph | Layout" tab, click "Details..." in the "Data update" session to pop up the "Data Update Details" dialog 



5. In the "Data Update Details" dialog, update the input file data and variables, then "Close" the dialog

6.Click "OK" in the "Graph Options" dialog and then the graph will be updated with new input.
