Resolution
To resolve this error :
1. Unzip the installer file with .zip extension by right clicking on the file and selecting "Extract All..." . This will unzip the compressed files to a folder of your choice. The default is the folder of the same name and same location as the zip file.
2. After the extraction is complete, open the extracted folder and then double click on CDSTART.exe to launch the Statistica installer.
