When a user enables SDMS integration from Statistica Enterprise manager and sees the below error message: "Authentication Failed HRESULT:80131509 Description:The request failed with HTTP status 404:Not Found"

How to resolve error "The request failed with HTTP status 404:Not Found" when integrating with Statistica Document Management System (SDMS)?

Resolution

This error usually indicates that the installation of Statistica Document Management System (SDMS) was not found on the machine . If the SDMS server URL is blank, Enterprise Manager is looking for an SDMS Server installation on the machine itself. If the SDMS URL is pointing to another machine, SDMS client has not been installed on the machine observing the error.

The Statistica Document Management System (SDMS) installer can be downloaded from here : https://edelivery.tibco.com/storefront/view-component-download.ep?partNumber=01010803

Choose to install Server and client or Just Server or Just client depending on the machine. Note that the SDMS Server does require consider amount of space, so if you can point to an SDMS Server that exists in the network, install SDMS client is preferred.
