Description

Prior to Spotfire 7.8, the maximum number of in-database rows that can be viewed in a Table Visualization is limited to 10,000 rows. From Spotfire 7.8 forward, this can be configured by setting the preference value of TableVisualizationExternalRowLimit .

Resolution

Steps to configure:
  1. Login to TIBCO Spotfire Analyst as an Administrator.
  2. Go to Tools > Administration Manager.
  3. Select Preferences tab.
  4. Select group to which this setting should be applied. You can Select "Everyone" group so that the setting is configured to all the users.
  5. Edit the Preferences.
  6. Select Application > Data Import Preferences > TableVisualizationExternalRowLimit
Set the value of TableVisualizationExternalRowLimit to the new limit then save the changes. Then log out and log back in for the new preferences to take effect.
