Description
It is sometimes needed to update the self-signed certificate of a Tibco Administrator component for Silver Fabric in order to update the certificate validity for example. Unfortunately, it is not sufficient to only update the validity field and deploy the component. This does not work.
Issue/Introduction
This is a guide on how to update self-signed certificate from the Silver Fabric UI for a Tibco Administrator component using SSL.

Tibco Administrator for Silver Fabric
Resolution
The workaround is that in addition to changing the "validity" field, it is also required to make a change to the "HTTPs base port" field. Deploy the component and restart the engine. Check and confirm that the certificate has been updated.
The "HTTPs base port" can then be reverted back to its original value if necessary.
