Description
This article explains the process for how to upgrade to the latest version of TIBCO Spotfire® Analytics for AWS on the AWS marketplace when a new version is released.

Resolution
Users of TIBCO Spotfire® Analytics for AWS will need to first create a new instance with the latest version of Spotfire and then migrate their data from the previous instance by exporting data from the old version then importing data into the new version. From the Spotfire for AWS website:
Migrating the library content from one version to another can be handled with the Command Line Interface (CLI) or in the Analyst client under Tools > Library Administration.

Information about the Library Administration tools in the Spotfire Analyst client can be found here:
- "NOTE: The Spotfire for AWS hourly and annual subscriptions do not include maintenance upgrades. Upgrades require migration between instances"
