Description

WebStatistica has a repository which can store data from any workstation on the Statistica application server. The data can be uploaded to Statistica server (WebStatistica) from Statistica or from the thin client interface.

Prerequisites : The user attempting the operation should be a member of SWS_USER and SWS_UPLOADDATA or a part of SWS_ADMIN

Statistica 

1. Open Statistica and click on the Server tab. Click on Log In  to login to the Statistica server. This will attempt an integrated login and if the integrated login fails, the user will be prompted for credentials that can be entered.

2. Click on Upload File in the transfer section. Statistica will prompt for the file you want to upload to the server.

3. Select the file and click Open. Statistica will get the list of folders available on the repository of the server.

4. Choose the destination folder where the file should be placed and click ok.

 5. The file will be uploaded on the server in the specified directory. Similarly,files on the server can be downloaded provided the user attempting the operation is a member of SWS_USER & SWS_DOWNLOADFILES or a  memeber of SWS_ADMIN

WebStatistica

1.  Browse to http:\\servername\webstatistica in a browser of your choice and login to webstatistica.
2. Click on File | Upload Document to Server

3.   Choose the file to upload , change the name of the file if desired and choose a repository directory and click on Upload.

4. The user can use Repository management to move , copy or download files from the server (provided the user has the right permissions to download the file) .
