The Alarm trigger node is used to tie alarms from the SPC charts with alarming node results to MAS. Find the example workspace used for this article attached.
1. After the SPC charts with Alarming node, add the Alarm trigger node from the node browser.
2. In the parameters of the alarm trigger node, identify the variable in the Alarm results spreadsheet that would be a sample ID or Timestamp for the SPC chart. Then identify the variable that would contain the characteristic name .
3. Input the variable that has Additional information, Alarm type if you choose to display additional information. Optionally you may also add Alarm code prefix, and use Action plans (Action plans a Statistica report that contain possible actions for the alarm) Optionally, if there may be Missing data, identify a Normal case status value.
4. Create a taskset in Statistica Enterprise that would contain this workspace as a task.
5. Add return codes from the variable specified in Case Status Variable Name in the Alarm trigger node ("Alarm type" of the Alarm Results spreadsheet) . Define the rest of the taskset options (Rules, schedule) as you normally would.
6. Create a MAS dashboard that contains the fore mentioned taskset. When MAS runs the task, the alarms details will be specified in the alarm email if the taskset rule is configured to send an email.
