PREREQUISITES:

1. The Meta-database versions of the source and destination databases should match. In other words, the statistica versions of both environments should match.

2. The System DSN should be defined in Control Panel >>System and Security >> Administrative Tools>>  Data Sources (ODBC)  for the source and destination Enterprise meta databases

PROCEDURE: 

1. Open Enterprise Manager from either the source or destination environment. Click on 'Database Migration' on the top right hand corner of Enterprise Manager

2. Click on 'Source DB' and choose the DSN from the drop down list and enter the credentials to logon to the environment
 

3. Click on 'Destination DB' and choose the DSN from the drop down list and enter the credentials to logon to the environment.

4. Select the configurations that you would like migrated over. If you want all the configurations in a folder, you may select the folder to select all the objects in the folder and their dependent objects

5. Review the options by clicking on the options button. If you have SDMS ensure you are transferring the right version of the object. If you are transferring a data entry setup, evaluate if you want to transfer samples and choose the appropriate options.

6.  Click on the black arrow and evaluate the validation report on the objects that will be created/updated in the destination database and click 'Export Enterprise Objects'.  If prompted for an Audit Log reason, enter a valid reason for the audit. 

7. After the database migration utility completes the transfer it will display a report of successfully migrated configurations. Any errors during the transfer, such as invalid data connections will be reported in this window. Click the Close and X  button to close the migration utility 

8. Connect to the destination database and click on the Refresh button on the destination database to see the newly migrated configurations.
