Description
For TIBCO Spotfire Server version 10.9:
- Go to Monitoring & Diagnostics
- Switch to Server diagnostics tab
- Observe the Allocated memory column for the Spotfire Server
Result: For values larger than 1000 MB these are incorrectly displayed and showing 1000x times less.
In the example below the actual and correct value in this case should be 4.51 GB for the "Allocated memory" column.
Issue/Introduction
In TIBCO Spotfire Server Administration Console allocated memory values greater than 1000 MB is incorrectly displayed. This is only a display error appearing in version 10.9. This is corrected for later versions.
Resolution
This is only a display error, thus an error in the number shown in the web interface, not a functional defect.
The actual allocated memory will be the correct 1000x times more.
For later versions of TIBCO Spotfire Server this is corrected.
