Assuming that Statistica 13.5 is already being used, is an upgrade to Statistica 13.6 necessary ?

The new features in Statistica 13.6 are limited to the Statistica- Spotfire integration. Statistica 13.5 users will not need to upgrade their Statistica installation to Statistica 13.6 .

Statistica 13.6 does not contain any changes to the Statistica application 13.5 and only contains improvements were made to the Statistica/Spotfire integration.
The new features are within the component named TIBCO Data Science for TIBCO Spotfire Analyst Software for users who use Statistica data function with Spotfire.
