This KB article explains about whether the importing the CAR file from a latest version (say n) to a previous version (n-1).
Issue/Introduction
Is it possible to import the CAR file from a higher version to a lower version in TIBCO Data Virtualization?
Resolution
As of now, importing the CAR file from lower version to next/latest version is supported supported. This process is not forward compatible.
