Resolution

This error may occur if you are a member of a Spotfire user group that does not have the required 'Execute Data Function' and 'Register Data Function' licenses enabled.

To resolve this issue, a Spotfire administrator needs to login to Spotfire Server, then enable the 'Register Data Function' and 'Execute Data Function' licenses for any Spotfire user groups that have had TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services (TSSS) URLs configured for them as Preferences.

To find the names of all Spotfire user groups where TSSS URLs have been configured, the Spotfire administrator can refer to the following public knowledge base article:
