Description
When adding an image file as an Image Layer to be displayed in a map chart, you must enter the specific Extent Settings to identify the size and location of the image. If these are not accurate, then the image may disappear or be positioned incorrectly.

Resolution
If the information for the Image is provided as Latitude and Longitude, then the following settings should be made:
The Coordinate Reference System (CRS) for the Map Layer (if used) should be set to "EPSG:3857 - WGS 84 / Pseudo-Mercator" under Properties/Appearance.
The CRS for the Image Layer should be set to "EPSG:4326 - WGS 84 - World Geodetic System" (or appropriate CRS) under Properties/Layers/Image Layer/Settings/Data
