Description
Symptoms:
In a TIBCO Spotfire server with LDAP authentication, when a user is authenticated with Active Directory (LDAP), the Spotfire server closes the connection with the LDAP server after authentication. You can see the log entry "LDAP connection is closed" in the Spotfire Server DEBUG logs. However this LDAP connection is not closed after user or group synchronization.
Cause:
It is a known issue.

Issue/Introduction
LDAP connection does not get closed after synchronization in Spotfire Server.
Resolution
The issue is addressed in hotfix "TSS_6.5.4 HF-010 and TSS_7.0.1 HF-004" for TIBCO Spotfire Server 6.5 and 7.0 respectively. Apply the hotfix if TIBCO Spotfire Server meets the following.
