Description
When viewing a data table visualization with a column configured with a link renderer (see image below) on the TIBCO Spotfire for Apple iOS application, TIBCO Spotfire for Android application, or mobile browsers, the links may not work (clicking does not open the URL as expected).
Issue/Introduction
Links in the table visualization will not work with mobile touch when connected to Spotfire version 10.0, 10.1 or 10.2
Resolution
This is caused by a defect in the TIBCO Spotfire Web Player and is seen when connected to a TIBCO Spotfire Server of version 10.0, 10.1 or 10.2 from the iOS or Android mobile applications or from the mobile browser. This has been resolved in TIBCO Spotfire version 10.3.
To resolve, upgrade to TIBCO Spotfire 10.3 or higher, then connect to the server again from the iOS or Android mobile applications or from the mobile browser. The links will now open the URLs as expected.
