This is the minimum software version for each hardware generation:
H4R0 - version 5.4.1 (5.4.x is EOL)
H4R1 - version 5.6.3
H4R2 - version 6.1.1
H5 - version 6.2.1

H4R0 model numbers end in "25". For example, ST4025.
H4R1 model numbers end in "25R1". For example, ST4025R1.
H4R2 model numbers end in "25R2". For example, ST4025R2.
H5 model numbers end in "35". For example, ST4035.

Be aware of these minimum LMI software versions when you are planning for new hardware. If you will be retaining older hardware alongside the new hardware, especially when message routing, HA, or management station features are used that require the same software versions for all LMI instances to maintain a supported configuration, then the newer hardware will not be able to use software versions older than what is listed above. This means the older hardware will have to be upgraded to the newer software release (if supported) or the old and new hardware must maintain some level of separation. In the case of management station this separation means the appliances using one LMI version have to be in a different MS cluster compared to those appliances using the older/newer LMI version. For HA situations involving the different LMI versions this means the nodes can't be in HA. The nodes would also be unable to be in the same HA cluster if they are not the same platform model.

This article provides the minimum LMI version for each hardware generation starting with H4, including H4R1 and H4R2, to H5.
