MAS does not seem to run any tasks / After submitting a taskset, user does not see a running man in the dashboard to indicate MAS is running the task after message "Taskset successfully scheduled for execution"

Issue/Introduction

This article describes what a user should check when no running man is seen after submitting a taskset in MAS

Resolution

1 .Login to MAS server as an Administrator on the MAS server and an system Administrator(SADM) in Enterprise Manager.

2. Launch Control Panel>>System and Security>>Administrative Tools>> Services and check if the service named MASMonitorService is running. If it is not running, start the MAS service. Check if the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, or MASMonitor service is already started proceed to Step 3.

2.  Launch MAS Configuration Utility and ensure that you are pointing to the same DSN as MAS Configuration utility. If required, change the DSN used by MAS and save the changes and restart service.

This should now resolve the MAS dashboard to showing the running man to indicate that MAS service is running the tasks.
