Description

When trusting Nodes you have to make sure that the Node Manager and the Spotfire Server(s) machines have their clocks in sync. More than a few minutes out of sync will break the HTTPS communication between them.

Please note that this is regarding clock, not timezone - the UTC timestamp must be in sync, but the time zones can be different.

Issue/Introduction

The clocks on Node Manager machine and Spotfire Server machine need to be in sync to be able to trust certificates between machines.

Resolution

Set the clocks in sync manually or use Network Time Protocol (NTP) server to synchronize them.
